About

You know what you eat matters. You know pregnancy and postpartum are nutritionally demanding. But knowing and doing are two very different things, especially when you're running on broken sleep and putting everyone else first.

“Don't accept that feeling depleted is normal.”

A woman with long dark hair smiling, sitting cross-legged on a white kitchen counter, holding a beige mug. She is wearing a sleeveless maroon top and light gray jeans. In the background, there is a wall clock showing approximately 1:02 and a blurred plant.

I entered my first pregnancy five years ago already running on empty. I was dealing with eczema and anxiety, which I knew were signs my body was inflamed and under stress. I was excited to be pregnant, but I hadn't done the groundwork. I hadn't filled my cup before asking my body to grow another human. And postpartum, I paid the price. I was depleted physically, emotionally and nutritionally.

With my knowledge as a Clinical Nutritionist and the support of a wonderful team of practitioners, I came back from that depletion. I felt healthier and happier than I ever had.

Going through this experience as a new mother transformed how I understood my work. I was already a qualified Clinical Nutritionist, but experiencing the impacts of postpartum depletion firsthand emphasised how powerful nutrition is as a tool. I was inspired to use this knowledge to help women navigating depletion in motherhood just like me. I went on to pursue further training specifically in pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, not just because the science fascinated me, but because I understood how much it mattered.

When I became pregnant with my second child, I did things differently. I went into pregnancy in great health and nourished myself intentionally. I'm now experiencing what postpartum can feel like when your body is properly supported. The difference is profound, and it's the difference I want to help you experience.

Whether you're reading this before, during or after pregnancy, you don't have to figure this out alone. Don't accept that feeling depleted is normal. There is another way, and I'm here to help you find it.
